         There are so many things that I think about when I think of you but, the thing that stands out in my mind the most is the time you came to Ohio looking for us because you said you missed Mommy so bad you just couldn't go another day without seeing her.  You walked up and down the street for about 2 hours and then you saw Lucy and asked her where we lived and you were standing right across the street from our house.  You came to the door and knocked and you just fell in the door you were so tired from looking all day.  I remember Mommy was so happy to see you all she could do was stand there and hold you.  I swear you guys stood there for ages just loving each other.  Carlos this family is missing alot of love that used to be here.  Maybe it is because we lost 3 of our angels.  I know You, Granny and Melissa are watching over us.  We probably wouldn't have made it this far if you weren't.  I miss you and think of you often but If I look hard enough, I think sometimes I can almost see you guys in heaven looking down on us.  Send us some blessings.  I am sure we could all use them.

Carlos , it is so hard to believe you have been gone this long i miss you so much ,we always include you in our thanksgiving and christmas time days , both you and mommy is always with us ,there is not any holiday that goes by (or even a day )that we don't think of you , you was a one of a kind brother and T.C. is just like you and he is so proud of it  ,he speaks of you often ,i wish you could see him you would be so proud of him  he looks more like you than any of your nephews ,, i just wish he didn't have some of your habits (lol.lol.lol) but i just wanted you to know i wish all my kids could have got to have known you T.C. says what he remembers the most is setting in your lap and feeling of your beard ,,Carlos i still get mad when i think of how and why you died but i know the lord will take care of it ,, i go to your grave and i feel you there ,, when you left this world you not only left a daddy and brothers and sisters with a hole in there heart ,you left a lot of kids,yours and all the ones you raised with an empty spot in there heart too  ,, you had a special place i know in your heart for kids and i believe that maybe that is your job in heaven is to look over them especially the ones that had no daddy's or that was abused  because you left such an impact on so many down here .Carlos i love and miss you ,, please give mommy a hug and a kiss for me  ,, until i see you again

       My children loved every inch of your soul and spirit. They still talk about how you used to come up on Satrurday morning to watch scooby-doo and speed buggy with them and how they loved to wrestle you down to the floor and crawl all over you like spiders on a fly. They called you "uncle carlos hillbilly jim".
       I'll never forget when i gave a you a real hawaiian punch with a hawaiian punch can. I thought i'd killed you and then when you got up i thought you would kill me. You taught me how to ride my bike without falling off the bridge into the creek. Through the good times and the bad I always loved you and were so glad to have a great silly brother like you. You are truely the best father I could have asked for. I will never forget the love you showed me throughout my life. In every important event in my life up until your death you were right by my side. You raised me when I was a child, you taught me how to drive, you cried at my graduation, you consoled me when my heart was broken (not to mention that you wanted to kill the one who broke it), you were by my side when I gave birth to Josh, and you held my hand and helped me to be brave when I had to have a blood transfusion after Joshua's birth in order to live. You were also a great Grandfather to Josh. His eyes would just light up when he saw you. I just wish that Sierra and Amber would have met you. I have made sure that they know you and as long as I am alive everyone of your grandchildren will know you and love you. I look at your picture everday and think of how proud you would be of how I turned out and just knowing that gives me the strength to keep going when life seems to much to handle. I love you

Dearest Brother Carlos,
Shortly after you passed away I had a dream that you and Mom were sitting on a blanket in a big beautiful green field with wild flowers growing all around you, along with a lot of the other people who had left before you to be with Jesus and I walked up and asked you what you were doing there. You looked up at me with a smile on your face and a light in your eyes that only Jesus can give and said, "We are waiting for Jesus to come." Mommy never said anything, but she looked up at me with such a huge smile on her glowing face (you know the one she got on Christmas and Thanksgiving when she had all of her children and grandchildren with her). I knew she was happy she had you there with her so she could watch over you, as she always did. She loved each and every one of us so much. Since that dream I don't worry where you will spend eternity. I believe that Jesus used my dream to send me a message that, "Yes Carlos is with me and you don't have to worry anymore". That was a wonderful dream.
Carlos, I know you had a big heart and a lot of love and I believe that I will see you again someday in Heaven. Thank you for being a wonderful brother.
