This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Carlos Brewer who was born in Kentucky on March 30, 1952 and left us to be with Jesus on August 13, 1992 at the age of 40. Because of an inherited sickness that could not be cured we were not able to watch Carlos's hair turn gray and his face grow old. I know you are one of the most beautiful angels in Heaven. Carlos was a wonderful brother and father. His children and grandchildren were his greatest love. He is survived by our father Herbert Albert Aurey Hoover Brewer, 4 brothers, 5 sisters; two sons Carlos Brewer, Jr and Eugene Albert Brewer, two daughters Ellie Irene (Brewer) Sparks and Alice Lou (Brewer) Smith. He was preceded in death by our mother Alice Mae (Burkhart) Brewer. He didn't have a long life to be with his children, he was taken to be with Jesus suddenly by a massive stroke. When we lost Carlos we lost a wonderful brother and friend, but we know that when the Lord see's that you have had all you can stand, that is when he calls you home. Carlos, you are truly missed by all. We love you.
Since the creation of this website Carlos has been joined in Heaven by our father and our youngest brother Herbie Jr. who died together in a terrible house fire. The sorrow just grows and grows.
